FAQs
How is life coaching different from therapy?
Therapy is often focused on healing past wounds, processing trauma, and finding relief from challenges like anxiety or depression. Life coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused. It’s about gaining clarity on what you truly want, breaking free from limiting patterns, and taking aligned, intentional action to create the life you’re ready to step into.
What if I’m not 100% sure what I want to work on yet?
That’s completely okay—and actually very common. We’ll begin with a thoughtful exploration of where you are now, where you feel stuck, and what you envision for your life one year from today. From there, we’ll uncover what matters most to you and build a plan that feels aligned, clear, and doable.
What are your rates?
Most coaching programs require large packages or long-term contracts. I do things differently. My subscription-based model provides ongoing, personalized support—without the pressure of a big financial commitment upfront. While it’s designed to be flexible, I recommend committing to at least 6 months to give yourself the best chance for real, lasting progress toward your goals.
Rates range from $500/month to $1,000/month, depending on how often we meet (weekly or bi-weekly). Together, we’ll create a customized plan tailored to your unique needs and goals, giving you the flexibility to choose what feels best for where you’re at.Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance for life coaching services because coaching is not considered a medical or mental health service, so it isn’t eligible for insurance reimbursement.
What’s your coaching style?
Warm, intuitive, and results-driven. With a background as both a trauma-informed therapist and Certified Master Life Coach, I bring a unique blend of emotional depth and practical strategy to our work together. I’ll meet you with compassion, challenge you when needed, and hold space for the highest version of you to come forward.
How does coaching fit with EMDR?
A core premise of EMDR is that we struggle in the present because certain past experiences remain unprocessed. When our Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) system doesn’t fully process these experiences, they can continue to impact us. Even if they don’t lead to a mental health diagnosis, unresolved memories can still create inner blocks and keep us stuck.
This is where EMDR-informed coaching can be so powerful. By helping you access and reprocess what's been stored in your nervous system, we can clear the emotional residue that’s been holding you back—whether it’s fear, self-doubt, or limiting beliefs. As a result, you're able to move toward your goals with greater clarity, confidence, and ease.
What kinds of things can we work on in coaching?
Anything that feels meaningful to you. That could look like finding clarity in your career, navigating a life transition, attracting a healthy relationship, or letting go of patterns like people-pleasing or perfectionism. Whether you’re working on self-trust, setting better boundaries, or creating a life that feels more purposeful, we’ll address both your goals and the internal blocks keeping you stuck—so your progress is deep and lasting.
Do you see clients virtually or in person?
My coaching practice is 100% virtual, which allows me to work with people worldwide. Whether you're based in the U.S. or anywhere else, we can connect over Zoom from the comfort of your own home!
How do I get started?
To get started, book a discovery call with me. During this 30-60 minute call, we’ll assess your needs, explore where you’re feeling most stuck in your life, and determine the best approach to help you move forward. It’s a great opportunity to gain clarity on your goals and see if we’re the right fit to working together.
